Olga Zygadlowska is a researcher whose work focuses on the biogeochemical cycling of greenhouse gases, nutrients, and trace metals. Her primary interest lies in the processes that control methane dynamics in aquatic environments. In November 2025, she obtained her PhD from Utrecht University, where she studied methane dynamics in seasonally euxinic coastal systems. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where her research focuses on methane emissions from peatlands.
