Entrance Awards: breaking barriers with boldness and innovation

New Energy Forum is all about people who don't wait for change to happen on its own, but take action themselves. People who come up with new solutions, break existing patterns and accelerate the energy transition.

That is why, during the sixth edition, we are once again putting the spotlight on today's most innovative barrier breakers with the Entrance Awards.

The winners for 2026 will be announced on 18 June during the New Energy Forum.

Who will win this year's energy transition prize worth €100,000?

In 2026, we will once again be putting the spotlight on professionals and companies that are making a difference in the energy transition. The winner will receive a total of €100,000, consisting of €25,000 in cash and €75,000 in support from Entrance, part of Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen.
