LiT Aero Conference

After a successful first edition, the second edition of our annual event – under a new name – brings together the aviation innovation community to reflect, connect and accelerate progress. The central theme of this year’s conference is: Maintaining Momentum in a Changing World. How do we keep moving forward – together – when the world around us is in flux?

We are proud to welcome a diverse line-up of speakers who will share their perspectives on innovation, collaboration and the future of aviation.

•   Eline van Beest, keynote speaker, founded NightBalance after developing the Sleep Position Trainer as part of her graduation project at TU Delft, a pioneering health tech company that introduced an innovative solution for sleep apnea. After successfully launching and selling the company, she is now Operational Partner at Thuja Capital. With a strong track record of turning high-tech ideas into impactful, scalable companies, Eline embodies the spirit of innovation and momentum that defines both our theme and the current phase of LiT. Her insights on growth, resilience and entrepreneurial leadership will set the tone for a day of inspiration and action.

•   Robert Tieman, Caretaker Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management, will reflect on the role of government in enabling a sustainable and innovative aviation sector in the Netherlands and beyond.

•   Tjerk Opmeer, Deputy Director General for Business & Innovation, will bring the perspective of the business and innovation landscape, highlighting the importance of collaboration and knowledge exchange to accelerate the transition.

•   Guiding the day’s discussions will be Mark Wijsman, our moderator, ensuring a dynamic flow of ideas and connections throughout the programme.

Together with other experts from across the ecosystem, they will spark the conversations and connections that make the LiT Aero Conference a unique meeting place for the aviation innovation community.
