Fieldtrip to Delft Knowledge Institutes

This - half day - field trip is all about knowledge development and practice. The trip includes visits to Deltares (by boat), where participants will be introduced to innovative solutions in the field of water and surface. We will also visit Green Village at TU Delft,  the oldest and largest technical university of the Netherlands, and the Delft Innovation District / Cable District.

Visit to Deltares research facilities
This includes a lunch and visit to their research facilities, such as the Deltaflume and GeoCentrifuge.

Visit to Green Village at TU Delft Campus
This is a field lab for sustainable innovation in the urban environment. Our tour will focus on climate adaptive urban environments.

Visit to the Delft Innovation District / Cable District
The Schieoevers work/residential area, in conjunction with the adjacent TU Delft Campus, is being developed into Innovation District Delft. As a result, Delft Zuidoost is developing into an attractive place to live, work, meet, learn and do business.

Boat tour from Delft Innovation District to Expo Arsenaal. Afterwards you may enjoy drinks in Expo Arsenaal and exchange experiences.
