Day 1 - Wednesday November 1st
Setting the scene and introducing the climate adaptation challenges

On the first day, you will be welcomed by inspiring speakers, to set the scene and share the sense of urgency. We are all facing similar challenges: a changing climate, how to adapt our infrastructure, coastal areas and urban environment to the changing climate and social circumstances. Rijkswaterstaat has 225 years of experience but needs to rethink how to manage our assets in the future. What can we learn from our international partners? During the different subsessions in the afternoon, we will explore these questions for specific themes.
